Graduate degrees are offered by individual departments (Anthropology, Hispanic Studies, History, Political Science, Sociology, etc.), rather than by the Latin American Studies program.

However, the university’s Latin Americanist faculty work closely together across campus, and both MA and PhD students often include committee members from other departments.

The program aims to support graduate study by providing a clearing house for information about events and opportunities of interest to graduate students working on Latin America.

The program also organizes lectures, conferences and workshops, as well as occasional social events open to all.
