34 Puñaladas is an Argentine tango group with four guitars and a singer that has achieved, in their 13 years of existence, local and international recognition. Their focus has been on the dark roots of tango music exploring gritty themes of drugs, women, vice, and bitter. Also, their lyrics has to do with poverty and marginalization and how it is shown nowadays. Their focus the poetry of the songs with the 21th Century, proving that tango does not belong only to early days.
One of the group last productions, Bombay Buenos Aires, is considered by the local press to be one of the fundamental CDs of the genre in the last 10 years.
