Performance artist Lola Arias’ debut documentary brings together six traumatized veterans from both sides of 1982’s British-Argentine war in the Falklands/Malvinas. Arias then has them enact or re-enact violent confrontations in an attempt to help them exorcise their war-bred demons. Treading the razor-thin edge between documentary and fiction, the film is fascinating and often moving; as a project, it does seem to have a therapeutic effect on all involved. “Witty, self-aware [and] cathartic…”–Variety
