Please join us for a workshop with Dr. Gabriela Ippolito-O’Donnell (PhD, University of Cambridge; MA, University of Notre Dame), where we will discuss the paper “Citizens’ Views of the Quality of Democracy in Latin America: Argentina and Brazil in Comparative Perspective.” Gabriela is professor of Politics at the Universidad Nacional de San Martín, Argentina, where she has directed the Center for the Study of Civil Society and Public Life. A former Kellogg guest scholar and Mellon project coordinator, she spent the calendar year 2013 at the University of Notre Dame’s Kellogg Institute, continuing research on the interconnections between civil society and the quality of democratic institutions in Latin America.
