Helen Mack Chang is the Founder and President of the Myrna Mack Foundation. The Myrna Mack Foundation is dedicated to human rights, particularly in Guatemala, to seeking justice for those who are the victims of crimes of state oppression, and to seeking peace and democracy. It is inspired by the example of Myrna Mack (Helen Mack’s sister), an anthropologist who in a notorious case was killed by the Guatemalan state in 1990.
Reception to follow. All welcome.
Sponsored by the University of Guelph and the International Development Research Centre.
